Easing the burden and inspiring through concern
It is my job to provide you with support and a sense of structure in the period following a death so that you have the time and space required to come to terms with your loss and to say your final farewells.
This entire period can be a very emotional and stressful one, and though I cannot make those troubles disappear, I can be there to help soften the blow through empathy, personal attention and sincere professionalism.
The final act of setting sail brings with it a whole range of matters that demand careful consideration, many of which can be addressed during our first meeting before or after the death of a loved one. There are a number of legal rules and regulations that must be adhered to, but generally one is allowed a great deal of freedom in organizing a funeral according to one's own wishes. These wishes may include the treating of the body, arrangements for a coffin, designing a bereavement card, transport, laying out the remains at home, deciding on a programm for the day of the funeral, guidance on rituals, choice of location(s), and food and beverages.
In addition, it may be necessary to hire the services of other funeral professionals and locations.
I will be there to advise and assist you every step of the way.
Should you wish to discuss matters relating to your own final journey, I will be only too glad to make an appointment to drop by.
My services are concentrated in the Amsterdam region roughly from Haarlem to 't Gooi (Naarden, Bussum, Hilversum), but in fact I come to help you all over the Netherlands.
